Reaching Out To Our Community

Outreach groups join together to participate in evangelism and acts of service around the community, and around the world.

Empower. Protect. Invest. Think Small Humboldt

Group Leaders: Jenny Sherman

Join the fight to protect Humboldt County youth. We are an outreach group focused on preventing human trafficking by educating students in schools across Humboldt County. We need people who are interested in teaching this curriculum to local high school students. We also need people to teach a preschool. More Info Here

Eureka Rescue Mission

Group Leader: Stan Feldsine

In the heart of Old Town, the Eureka Rescue Mission is a beacon of hope for those in our community who are lost or need a friend. This outreach group leads a 30-minute service in the mission the fourth Wednesday of every month. This is a wonderful way to be a part of the loving solution of Jesus in the community. Contact Stan for more information.

Jail Ministries for Men and Woman

Group Leader: Stan Feldsine

In these groups, we pray, sing together and share God’s Word with the men and women in jail. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring light into some of the darkest areas of our community! These Humboldt County Jail Men’s and Women’s Bible Study groups meet on Thursday evenings. To participate in this group, you must be willing and able to pass a background check.
