John Mark McMillan will be live in concert at Faith Center on Friday, October 17th at 7:00 p.m. An acclaimed singer/songwriter, McMillan recently released his album Borderland and received a GMA Dove Award nomination for “Worship Song of the Year” for his single “Future / Past.” During street week, the album debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Christian and Gospel chart and RELEVANT Magazine named Borderland as one of its “Top albums of 2014 so far.”
Next month, McMillan is set to release The Borderland Sessions, an intimate collection of recordings of the entire Borderland album with special guest vocalists Ray Dalton (featured on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us”), Bear Rinehart (of NEEDTOBREATHE), Kim Walker-Smith (of Jesus Culture), Sarah McMillan, and Brady Toops. The Sessions also includes full commentary from McMillan, sharing his thoughts and stories behind the songs.
Known by many for his hit “How He Loves,” the song was listed by Integrity Music as one of the 25 most influential worship songs in the past 25 years. “With a cracking voice and soaring, fuzzed-out amplification, McMillan stands out as a true worship pioneer,” says RELEVANT Magazine.
